About SoWood

 

SoWood was born on the shores of Ericeira, where the smell of sawdust meets the smell of salt water. We're a small woodworking workshop built around two things we love: craftsmanship and surf culture.

We're originally from Ukraine, now based on the Portuguese coast, where the ocean has become part of how we work and what we make.

Every piece — from surfboard racks to wall-mounted holders — is shaped, sanded, and finished by hand in our workshop. We keep our designs minimal and functional, made to hold up to sun, salt, and daily life by the ocean, while looking good doing it.

We're not a factory. We're a small team that cares about how things are made — choosing solid wood, natural finishes, and details that last. Whether you're storing your quiver or just want a bit of surf spirit in your space, we build it to be simple, sturdy, and a little bit witty, just like the culture that inspires it.
